Artist Alley Application
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

All Westside Comic Con events are curated, meaning that all applications for artist space will be reviewed before being accepted. If your application is accepted, you will be notified and invoiced for the amount due. Invoice must be paid within 72 hours of notification date; if invoice is not paid by this date, the invoice will be cancelled and you will become ineligible to exhibit at the event for which you have applied. Please do not apply for space if you cannot afford it. Artist Alley space is not guaranteed until payment is made in full. Artists are not allowed to sublet or share artists alley space.  All payments for artist alley space at Westside Comic Con events are non-refundable. Please refer to our Exhibitor FAQ before contacting us with any questions.

DESCRIPTION OF ARTIST ALLEY SPACES at WESTSIDE COMIC CON 2026

 

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ARTIST ALLEY

Artist Alley is a curated section of the exhibit hall floor for Independent and mainstream comic creators, webcomic artists, professional writers/illustrators, and artists of all mediums. Everything being offered for sale must be the work of the creator(s) at the table and the creator must be present at the event.

STANDARD - $250

Dimensions: 8' (width) by 8' (depth). Features 10 linear feet of aisle frontage and includes one 8' x 30" table, two chairs, two exhibitor badges and wi-fi suitable for credit card transactions, only. Artist is free to remove or rearrange table/chairs as they see fit, provided they do not exceed their allotted space, or to bring their own table(s) or display racks. Entrance/exit to your artist alley space must be within the confines of your exhibitor space. PLEASE NOTE: Artist displays height cannot exceed 8' in height. COMMERCIAL 8X8 POP-UP FRAMES ARE NOT ALLOWED WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL.

CORNER - $300

Dimensions: 8' (width) by 8' (depth). Features 16 linear feet of aisle frontage and includes one 8' x 30" table and one 6' x 30" table in an “L” configuration, two chairs, two exhibitor badges and wi-fi suitable for credit card transactions, only. Artist is free to remove or rearrange table/chairs as they see fit, provided they do not exceed their allotted space, or to bring their own table(s) or display racks. Entrance/exit to your exhibitor space must be within the confines of your exhibitor space. PLEASE NOTE: Artist displays height cannot exceed 8' in height. COMMERCIAL 8X8 POP-UP FRAMES ARE NOT ALLOWED WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL.

 

DISCLOSURE OF INTENDED MERCHANDISE​

As Westside Comic Con is a curated market, it’s crucial that we know what you intend to bring to the show. We’ll need to know everything you intend to bring…and we mean EVERYTHING. Please keep in mind that, at the event, if it’s discovered that you have items for sale that a) were not disclosed to us on your application and b) are in direct competition with another exhibitor, you’ll be asked to cease sale of those items immediately (and if you don’t comply, well…you’ll have to leave). Also, please know that you may be accepted on the condition that you not bring one or more of your non-specialty items as it would cause a conflict with another exhibitor’s specialization; in this case, you will be contacted ahead of time by the market curator to make sure this is acceptable. Additionally, if you intend to have merchandise of an adult/mature natures it must be disclosed so that we can ensure proper placement, away from children's activities. You may be asked to keep such material behind the scenes, available upon request, but not easily visible to passing children. Payment of invoice will represent acceptance of conditions.

Westside Comic Con PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, dated (date of application) is between Westside Comic Con. (“WCC”) and the signatory at the end of this agreement (“Participant”). Participant will be participating in Westside Comic Con, currently scheduled to be held on May 23rd & 24th, 2026 (the “Event”). This Agreement must be digitally signed by Participant and digitally submitted to WCC in order for Participant to exhibit at Event.

Term: This Agreement will be effective for the Event in which the Participant participates. This Agreement may be terminated by WCC with or without cause immediately upon notice to the Participant. Participants and its employees, personnel, and agents agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement and all Event rules, regulations, and directives.

Safety: Participant will act with the highest regard for the safety of the attendees and other participants of the Event, and will adhere to all laws, policies, rules, and regulations applicable to the goods and/or activities of Participant, including obtaining all licenses, permits, and approvals that may be required to enable Participant to conduct its activities at the Event and fulfill its obligations under this Agreement.

Liability: WCC will not be responsible for any loss or damage to Participant’s property, injury to, or death of the Participant (or its agents, employees, and/or personnel), or Participant sales. Participant expressly assumes all risks of loss, damage, liability, injury, or destruction resulting from any cause whatsoever, including but not limited to acts or omissions by Participant, and hereby releases and waives any claims against WCC related to such loss, damage, liability, injury, and/or destruction.

Insurance: Participant represents that it has, or will have at the time of the Event, appropriate insurance to cover liability for the types of activities Participant will conduct at the Event. Participant covenants to be fully responsible for any of its liabilities, actions, or omissions, and will indemnify, defend, and hold WCC (and its officers, employees, agents, vendors, affiliates, and representatives) harmless against any claims related to Participant’s liabilities, actions, or omissions.

 

Cancellations: The event will proceed regardless of the weather. If there is a cancellation:
(a) By WCC: If cancellation of Event by WCC is necessary due to unforeseen circumstances, pandemic, acts of a third party, or other circumstances which (in WCC’s sole judgment) may compromise the safety or financial well-being of Participant, Event will be rescheduled and all payments made to WCC by Participant will be carried over to a rescheduled Event. If Event cannot (in WCC's sole judgment) be rescheduled, all payments made to WCC by Participant for exhibitor space at Event, less application fee and any non-refundable fees or charges levied by third parties, will be refunded to Exhibitor.
 
(b) By Participant: If Participant cancels its participation in Event, no refund will be issued and Participant will forfeit their space at Event. Participant may not assign this Agreement to any third party, or delegate any of its obligations without the written consent of WCC. Only the accepted Participants are able to sell or distribute their items and/or conduct activities at the Event. The vendor list, map, and exhibitor assignments are subject to change without notice. WCC does not guarantee any level of attendance at the Event and there will be no refunds, under any circumstances, after the Event is over.

Change in terms: The terms of this Agreement may be changed by WCC and notice of such change(s) will be sent to you in writing. You agree to accept notices via email, sent to the address provided by Participant. WCC reserves the right to decline, prohibit, or expel any Participant exhibit, or prevent any activity, displays, product, or conduct, which (in WCC’s sole judgment) is out of keeping with the character of the Event or endangers the venue, any attendee, or other participants.

Participant and its agents, employees, personnel, and/or independent contractors who participate in the Event agree to be bound to this Agreement. The terms of this Agreement, including any waivers, inures to the benefit of WCC and its affiliates and Event co-producers and sponsors.


Independent Contractors: The relationship of Participant to WCC is that of an independent contractor, and nothing contained in this Agreement will be construed as creating a partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, agency, or other relationship between the parties, or to make WCC liable for the debts or obligations of Participant.

The validity, interpretation, construction, and enforcement of this Agreement will be governed and controlled by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its rules with respect to choice of law. Any dispute arising out of or related to this Agreement must be brought in federal or state court in Washington County and the parties hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and the venue of such forum. This Agreement, and any rules and regulations provided to Participant by WCC or WCC’s affiliates, will contain the entire Agreement and understanding between the parties hereto with respect to participation in the Event. If any term is contrary to law then that term will be severed and the remainder of the Agreement will remain in force.
