Why Here?

Washington County is already a hub for geek culture, with comic shops, gaming stores like Rune & Board, and libraries hosting comic-themed events. The fan base is here — from avid readers and tabletop gamers to cosplayers and aspiring artists. Westside Comic Con aims to amplify this existing community, providing a larger platform for fans to connect, share their passions, and discover new interests.

Bringing a Comic Con to Washington County is about more than comics and costumes — it’s about creating a space where creativity flourishes, friendships form, and everyone feels like they belong.
